Wood Push Pole Fork Installation with Capt. John Tarr

19 December 2022

You’ve usually got one shot to make it right when doing your own wooden push pole fork for use on a technical poling skiff. Capt. John Tarr came up with a fantastic video showing the steps to help alleviate the anxiety if this is the first time doing it. Capt. John feels these forks are lighter, quieter and more natural sounding than the plastic forks offered by companies. This video shows you how to make sure it is installed properly, so the fork or the push pole doesn’t split.
